Description
“Modern” medicine is all about belonging. Its’ like a church, indoctrinating all its eager members. When someone dares question the legitimacy of what the leaders do or the dogmatic beliefs they promote for the flock to follow, they expel the intrigued member, shame them in front of the flock and make them an example of a person not to follow. This instills significant fear in the remaining flock. Few will dare to question the status quo after that.
Really bad advice from the medical establishment is what got the public into the healthcare crisis we now find ourselves mired in. If the health advice from the medical establishment is so good, why is society so unhealthy? When I went into practice, I learned that a significant amount of what I was taught in medical school was just unscientific lies, false narratives and industry sponsored disinformation used to market drugs and procedures. After medical school, I went into my internship and residency. I saw the corruption and blatant bribing of doctors by medical representatives of pharmaceutical companies. They gave tours, trips, computers, lunches, cars and cash so that the medical doctors would prescribe their drugs. This is an outright embarrassment to humanity when the healers associate themselves with drug pushers in exchange for money and even worse, a free lunch? I refuse to be in the business of throwing prescriptions around like rice at a wedding.
I believe that God created our world and humans in his image. As time has passed, we can see that technology helped us in many ways. But technology is also a double-edged sword. Nowadays many health challenges are plaguing society and our dependence on technology has left many effective home remedies relegated to the past because they are not profitable for Big Medicine.
Many people are surprised to learn of the time honored and scientifically validated remedies found in the kitchen that are effective as opposed to anecdotal shotgun approaches with “off-label” pharmaceuticals. I dedicated my life to the practice of Natural Medicine and this book is dedicated to those who have a penchant for natural medicine and a heart for the art of healing. I cannot save the world, but I can do my part to share the knowledge I have learned to help people alleviate their health issues.
